HAPPY NEW YEAR and the BEST of TRADING in this New Year of Opportunity-

Been busy with new firm but will be updating blog regularly in New Year

This market is unbelievable. As much as we can complain about what ''should'' and ''shouldn't be', and moves in stocks that ''don't make sense' and broad instances of divergences and so on, All the preceding birth's GREAT Trading opportunities. 

I suggest having 2 to even 3 accounts if possible. A smaller P/A swing account, a longer term account where you may have done fundamental research, or simply have a gut feeling of longer term price targets, and of course a day trading account for extremely quick scalps.

ie), The high beta stocks will often have a quick burst off an opening 2-5 minute bar where you can make 1-3+ points in less then a minute at times-
  500 shares bot at $X, $X moves + 2 points in 30 seconds, have your sell order out there once bot position and you'd be surprised how quickly u can make $1,000. Decrease your size, use the same math, whatever- Point being, $1,000 bux  in minutes is double to triple what the shrinks we all pay make in an hour. Do that in 2-3 stocks, even losing in one or two depending what your size is, and can be even more profitable.
  If you can pull that off, by 945 you can be done trading for the day, or at least take a walk, have a nice breakfast somewhere etc. Or stay on desk but decrease size if going to keep chopping around.

The point is, if you stay disciplined and consistent in your methodology, this market gives you better opportunity then any business in the world.

If you are at a hedge fund or prop shop, obviously size can be bigger but these high beta names are not as liquid so a reasonable size is the most probable way to stay consistent.


LETS ALL HAVE A GREAT TRADING YEAR- DISCIPLINE, PATIENCE, AND HUMILITY ARE THE KEYS.
